Lipodissolve
Lipodissolve is a non-surgical method of body contouring and an alternative to minor liposculpture. It is the first, clinically proven, non-surgical therapy for melting away small-to-medium fat deposits on the face, neck and body. It offers remarkable body-sculpting results in as little as a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on the extent of the required treatment. Lipodissolve originated in Europe and was developed further in the U.S. and Latin America. Injections are based on a mixture of standard medications, including vitamins, enzymes and phosphatidylcholine, a natural substance derived from soy. Medication is administered directly into the fat to initiate the breakdown of fat accumulation.
The main component of Lipodissolve is phosphatidylcholine, which is a natural compound produced from the soya bean. The body uses the same substance in a number of chemical pathways, including fat metabolism. Lipodissolve has been scientifically proven to break down fat cell walls. The fat is dissolved into liquid and eliminated from the body through natural means. Prior to treatment, you will have the procedure plan explained, which will include where the injections will be made as well as how many injections you will need before the treatment commences. To ensure a smooth reduction of the unwanted fat deposit, it is important to achieve the necessary concentration of phosphatidylcholine in every part of the treated area. This requires a specific multi-injection technique. At the time of consultation, the required dosage per area will be calculated. The amounts of phosphatidylcholine injected into one fat deposit will range according to your individual needs. The Lipodissolve procedure takes between 15 and 30 minutes and depends on how many areas you are having treated per session. The number of required treatments differs from person to person, depending upon body region and body size. As a rule, two to four treatments in intervals of six to eight weeks apart are necessary to successfully complete the treatment and produce the best results. The effect of the treatment session becomes apparent roughly in six to eight weeks as the active ingredients work on breaking down the fat cells in the injected area. You can resume normal activity and there are no special requirements after this procedure. You may continue to experience some mild discomfort and swelling during this time, but such feelings are normal for just one to three days. What are the benefits?
Mesotherapy Mesotherapy is an exciting aesthetic treatment that functions as a "no-downtime" alternative to traditional cosmetic procedures. Dr. Michel Pistor, a French general practitioner, developed this medical technique in 1952. He used Mesotherapy to treat skin disorders, vascular diseases, sports-related trauma, rheumatoid conditions, and circulation issues. At present, physicians are using Mesotherapy for a variety of cosmetic treatments, including cellulite reduction, stretch marks, scar revision, hair loss, spot-weight reduction, and to improve the appearance of skin laxity and wrinkles.
The main use of Mesotherapy is for local fat and cellulite reduction. Sometimes, Mesotherapy is a good alternative to Liposuction with no downtime and a procedure that can be performed during a lunch hour.
During a Mesotherapy treatment, medication introduced in very small doses is injected into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm). Each skin condition or body area being treated will demand a specific formula. For example, skin rejuvenation would require a formula that includes nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and hyalorunic acid. To effectively treat cellulite, several compounds are injected to dissolve the connective tissue that produces the so-called "cottage cheese" appearance and to increase lymphatic flow. These microinjections are relatively painless so there is no need for anesthesia. Patients resume normal activities following treatment. The only potential side effect is slight bruising from the injections. Some people develop temporary soreness and bumps in the treated area. Endermology Endermology is the world's first patented technology, which is FDA-approved to temporarily, yet effectively reduce the appearance of cellulite, increase circulation, relieve minor muscle aches and pains, and relax muscle spasms. The Endermology experience is a comprehensive, non-surgical approach which embraces the physical and aesthetic needs of the whole body using a patented technique proven safe and effective. Discover the beauty of a figure that inspires self-confidence. How does it work? Endermology is like performing gymnastics on your skin and underlying tissue; suction and motorized vibrators massage your skin in a special way, thus exercising it. Gentle suction mobilizes your connective tissue and the vibrators help to increase circulation, thus facilitating exhange of fluid and clearance of fat. Endermology closes the gap between the two forces that originally created the dimpled appearance, thus fighting the appearance of cellulite. How many treatments are needed? The average number of treatments is two per week. If you are simultaneously in the process of losing a significant amount of weight or if you have a long-term problematic cellulite condition, one treatment per week is recommended. More than two sessions per week will not bring faster results. Sessions last an average of 25 minutes. Your problem areas are focused on, but time is given to other areas to stimulate general circulation and elimination. Usually people see changes within 5 or 6 sessions, but 15 is the average number of suggested treatments. Monthly maintenance sessions are suggested thereafter. How does it compare to liposuction? Unlike liposuction, Endermology does not involve breaking through the skin in any way. Therefore, you are not exposed to the life threatning complications of liposuction such as infections. Results are not as dramatic and immediate as with liposuction. However, long term appearance and physical health are better. Some people try Endermology first and then choose to wait to receive liposuction. Some choose to receive both as part of a dual treatment to their problem. Endermology is being used and studied by some of the most well known practitioners of liposuction in the world. Body Wraps Are you looking for an all-natural way to enhance and moisten your skin? Want to decrease excess water weight from your body in a matter of hours? Then a body wrap might be exactly what you are looking for. Body wraps are designed to improve the texture and appearance of the skin by helping to rid the body of excess fluids and toxins. The benefits of body wraps may include body contouring, detoxification, boosting of the lymphatic system and metabolism, temporary inch loss, skin tightening, and skin softening. How Are Body Wraps Performed? People undergoing body wrap treatments typically have their torso, legs, arms, and neck wrapped with elastic cloths (either dry when wrapped or pre-soaked with body wrap mixture). The elastic cloths absorb and help remove excess body fluids and toxins. The cloths are wrapped snugly (though not too tightly), creating a thermal blanket that promotes sweating and aids in the shedding of unnecessary interstitial fluid (fluid located between the small spaces of body tissues). The Benefits of Body Wraps Body wraps are all-natural, most often containing a mixture of herbs and minerals designed to beautify the skin. Essential oils and sea salts may also be used in daily spa body wrap treatments, helping to tone and soften the skin while helping to rid you of those unwanted inches. Results sometimes may be realized immediately. But toxins and interstitial fluids eventually re-accumulate, so regular body wraps may provide better long-term benefits. Here is a summary of what you can expect from a body wrap:
You can expect to lose between 6-20 inches from your first body wrap. Each individual is different and loses at a different rate. Repeat the process frequently to continue ridding the body of toxins and achieve the maximum results. |
